Delete your Pulse account

How to delete your account and what happens to your data.

Who this is for

This page is for anyone with a Pulse account, in the Pulse app or on the Pulse website, run by Pulse Productions. You can ask for your account and personal data to be deleted at any time.

Delete in the app

  1. Open the Pulse app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
  5. Read the warning and tap Delete to confirm.

Delete on the website

If you are a student with an active school link, you can also delete your account on the website:

  1. Sign in at thepulseproductions.com.
  2. Open Student Profile.
  3. Under Delete account, choose Delete my account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm.

Can't sign in, or no school link yet?

If you can't sign in, have a staff account, your school link isn't active yet, or you booked as a guest without an account, email info@thepulseproductions.com from the email address on the account (or the one you used for the booking) and ask for your data to be deleted. We reply by email.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth and profile photo
  • Your profile answers
  • Your sign-in methods (password, Google, Apple)
  • Your notification settings (your devices stop receiving notifications)
  • The personal details on your event registrations

You are signed out on all devices, and your school link is removed.

What is kept, and why

Payment and ticket records (amounts, dates and status) are kept for the school's financial records.

Some details received from our payment provider for completed payments, payment proof images you uploaded, discount codes issued to your contact details, bookings made with the same email without signing in, and security logs may still contain personal data. These are kept for as long as needed for accounting, legal and security purposes.

Before you delete

  • Deletion can't be undone.
  • Money you have already paid isn't refunded.
  • A payment that is still processing has to finish first. This usually takes a few minutes, then you can try again. If it still says a payment is processing after an hour, contact us.
  • If you come back, you'll pay every deposit again from the start.
  • An email address or phone number that was linked to a school can't be used on a new account to buy an outside-attendee ticket for that school's events.
